Dennis Kucinich on Taxes

Taxes
Kucinich promises that as a Democratic president, he will not raise taxes. Despite the current administration’s claims that the middle class received the most in tax cuts, Kucinich argues that the wealthiest one percent of Americans stand to gain $641 billion in tax cuts over the nine-year period while the bottom 80% will receive $636 billion over the same period.  Not only would Kucinich eliminate the Bush tax cuts, but he would take those funds and invest them into universal college education.  Apart of Kucinich’s tax reform policy is lowering the deficit.  Kucinich would stop the deficit-increasing flow of funds outside America through ending the war in Iraq and ceasing America’s participation with the WTO and NAFTA.
